Terri E. McNally, owner of Chicago, Illinois based Global Capital, Ltd. has been involved in the leasing and equipment finance industry for more than twenty years. Ms. McNally formed Global Capital as a woman owned certified diversity company in 1999. Since becoming actively involved with the WBDC four years ago as a WBE (Women Business Enterprise), the projected revenues of Global Capital have more than doubled to exceed $80,000,000 in 2003.
Global Capital is an independent leasing company that offers a variety of leasing and financing opportunities for all types of equipment. “When asked how the WBDC has helped me, I realized the difficulty in formulating my answer due to the multi faceted assistance I have received from the WBDC. First of all, my WBE certification that is recognized by over 700 companies across the nation created instant access to customers and credibility for my company.
Through WBDC events, I have become acquainted with other WBE’s from other industries who have become my closest mentors, friends, sounding boards as unofficial advisory board for Global Capital and a source of referrals. The WBDC gave me the opportunity to serve as their Midwest representative of the National Leadership Board to the WBENC and gave my business an even closer relationship with the corporations.
